The Frame

The foundation of every piece is a kiln-dried hardwood frame — oak, maple, or poplar depending on the application. Kiln drying removes moisture in a controlled environment, preventing warping and cracking over decades of use. No plywood. No particle board. No engineered wood. Every joint is corner-blocked, glued, and double-doweled for structural integrity that outlasts everything else in your home.

The Springs

We use eight-way hand-tied coil springs — the gold standard in upholstered furniture construction. Each spring is individually tied by hand in eight directions using durable twine, creating a network that distributes weight evenly across the entire seat. This is what gives a premium sofa its distinctive feel: firm support that responds to your body, not sinuous wire that bottoms out after a few years. Most brands — even those charging $10,000+ — use cheaper sinuous springs. We don't.

The Cushions

Our seat cushions use high-resilience foam cores wrapped in a generous layer of down and fiber. This combination gives you the best of both worlds: the support and shape retention of premium foam, with the luxurious softness and natural drape of down. Our cushions are designed to hold their shape for years while getting more comfortable with time.

The Upholstery

Every piece is upholstered by skilled craftspeople with decades of combined experience. Fabric is hand-cut (not machine-cut) and hand-sewn with precision. Pattern matching, welt details, and finishing touches are done one piece at a time — because that's the only way to do it right.
